Gilded bronze sculpture, Art Nouveau period, circa 1900
Height: 30 cm.
The artist studied to the Academy of Art of Le Mans in France and was the pupil of the sculptor François Jouffroy. He realized sculptures in plaster, marble and Bronze. He was established in Montmartre and exposed to "Le Salon" in 1872 and it until 1909. He was then member of the Society of the French artists.

Award of Hainaut in 1949. Award of the royal Academy of Belgium in 1959. Realize numerous architectural works notably in the exhibition center of Charleroi. Monumental work in royal Théatre of Mons. Review to the Museum of Mariemont in 1980 and to the room St Georges in Mons in 1988.
