Painter, draughtsman and sculptor. Dice 1845, he studied with the Academy of the Art schools of Brussels. In 1853, he followed the teaching of F.J Navez. In his work, he will be interested quickly in lived of the man, his condition, his work. They present its first sculptures in 1885 at "Salon des XX".
